According to the news, we may have a decision on 45s impeachment. I think it's obvious to anyone who has followed the trial that the Prosecution has proven he is guilty of inciting the riot which led to deaths, injuries, and destruction. The Repugnicans will vote along party lines and he will be acquitted. I believe we should work to make certain everyone who votes to acquit is voted out of office. They have no conscience and do not care about the wishes of their constituents. 45 should never be allowed to hold an elected position of any kind on any level, not even dog catcher.

Well, just as I thought. The Repugnicans in the Senate are cowards, afraid to follow their brains or their hearts. I read that 7000 people have changed their party affiliation. I pray more will follow.

The Republican party is dead. It should have died once Mitch McConnell was elected one time too many which occurred years ago. The party is filled with folks who came to Washington in order to make their fortunes, like Mitch McConnell. 

The preliminary portion discussed in great detail the constitutionality of the charge. It was decided that they could proceed. So why did the Republicans vote against based on the idea that it was not constitutionally allowed? McConnell's speech certainly sounded like he believed in 45s guilt. But now DJT is free to run for office. His believers will follow him regardless where he takes them.
